Conoscere Nardò attraverso la sua storia, il patrimonio artistico e culturale, i musei all’aria aperta oltre che quelli istituzionali, sarà una grande sorpresa. I musei possono offrire qualcosa a tutti i visitatori, a partire da piccole curiosità, fino ad interessi particolari passando per gli usi e i costumi o antiche tradizioni.

Mostra Museo Luigi Stifani

Dedicata alla figura del barbiere musicista di Nardò, ultimo violinista terapeuta del tarantismo, ma suonatore anche di mandolino e chitarra. Sulla sua rubrica annotava tutti i casi di tarantismo, dal 1929 al 1972. La mostra espone i suoi strumenti musicali e manoscritti, oltre agli strumenti di lavoro usati dal maestro nella sua bottega di barbiere.

Museum Exhibition: Luigi Stifani

Dedicated to the figure of the musician and barber of Nardò, the last violinist-therapist of tarantism, but also a mandolin and guitar player. In his address book, he noted all the cases of tarantism, from 1929 to 1972. The exhibition displays his musical instruments, his manuscripts, as well as the work tools used by the master in his barbershop.
