Casa a corte is located in the ancient neighborhood Castelli Veteris. The house preserves the typology of the courtyard house. It is accessed through an elegant portal made of stucco (plaster), dating from the second half of the 17^th century.

Thus far, the absence of documents has not allowed us to identify who was the owner of the original construction realized between the half of the 16^th century and the half of the 17^th century. Over the years, the ground floor of the building has often changed its use: between 1934 and 1936 it was an ink establishment of the company "Premiata Inchiostri Leone" of Salvatore Napoli Leone, polyhedral and brilliant inventor from Nardò.
