Sixth and final event of Quarta Parete, the review of Terrammare Teatro and the Municipality of Nardò that, as part of the season of the Teatro Comunale in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, hosts some of the best productions that embrace the territory. Friday, March 7, Nilde mia – autobiografia non autorita di una statua will be performed, a show by the Centro teatrale aperto Io ci provo, conceived and directed by Paola Leone, with Silvia Lodi.

The story. A statue, that of Nilde Iotti, alone on stage, abandoned who knows where, comes to life and becomes human. The first female President of the Chamber of Deputies is awakened by the voices of a procession of women singing feminist slogans. This is the pretext to bring back to life, even for just 50 minutes, one of the most important female figures in Italian history and the birth of the Constitution. An hour to retrace her life and the many battles she fought, such as those to approve the law on divorce, the reform of the new family law and the one in support of the recognition of rape as a crime against the person and not against morality.

The story of a life that today more than ever is an example of good politics and emancipation.
The show is at 9 pm. Tickets cost 15 euros for the stalls and central boxes (reduced 10), 10 for the side boxes (reduced 8) and 8 for the proscenium/gallery.
