Marco Tuma is a composer and multi-instrumentalist from Salento, who has been on the music scene for decades. He discovered his propensity for wind instruments at a very young age, orienting himself towards the knowledge and study of the transverse flute and later the saxophone, the clarinet, ethnic and Renaissance wind instruments, up to his greatest passion, that is, the chromatic harmonica. Always traveling between Etno World and Jazz, he had the opportunity to play on tour with Inti Illimani, and then deepen the musical culture of Latin America collaborating with many South American artists. Over the years he continued with pop and film music. He is present in many musical productions and has collaborated with almost all the most representative bands of the popular Salento scene. In addition to Gabin by Max Bottini and Mia Cooper, with the New York producer and singer Osunlade and then in the theater with Pamela Villoresi and Sonia Bergamasco. “Special women, normal women, women who stand up and speak up. With their imperfect bodies, with their unique voices, with all their emotions. No muses or angels of the hearth, no dolls or trophies. Only real people, flesh, blood, moods, dreams, anger, mistakes, passions. Billie Holiday, Mia Martini, Tina Turner are immense artists, but their personal stories resemble those of many others: wrong encounters, pain, scars, desire for redemption. None is just a victim, they all stage the richness of their lives, the fragilities and strengths, the infinite facets that make up their images. Many ways of being a woman for two passionate and intense interpreters”. (Teresa Musca).
